For New Year's Eve we had plans to go play in the snow, but the unusually warm weather and general lack of snow made that seem much less interesting. So we invited our friends to come visit us instead. We went to the beach and lit sparklers and visited the Redwoods. Fun things made better with friends. I have to say it is nice to have a 12 year old girl around. The little ones want to make cookies and she just makes it all happen. Wonderful.
