The cub scouts had a raingutter regatta, a mini boat race. They didn't do the pinewood derby this year so they did this instead. They have pack meetings with the girl scouts so it was a big group. We started the meeting with sanding...
and a little more sanding, then a little decorating.
Then the racing began.
It was a lot of fun. The kids had a good time and since we made the boats that day there wasn't the opportunity for the boys (and dads) to go all crazy and high tech with the construction. It was just the balsa wood boat and a boy blowing the sail.
