School has been out for a couple of weeks, but I wanted to share a couple of the end of the year activities at school. It all gets a little crazy. First up is the science fair. Buddy Boy wanted to test different materials and designs for flying things to see which was best. So we built and flew...
...and crashed and measured and analyzed data. Then we made the display and had a good time at the school science fair.
Next up was the writing fair. The kids in Buddy Boy's class had spent the last couple of weeks working on writing non-fiction books. Buddy Boy wrote about movie making. They presented their writing at the in-class publishing party. Then Buddy Boy's book was selected for the district writing fair. This meant that his book was on display at the local library for everyone to admire. He did a great job and is proud of his work.
