For the first time I had two helpers baking. It was interesting trying to keep them from falling off the chair as they jostled each other for perfect dough tasting position.
We made the dough one day and baked it the next.
Instead of frosting I used colored sugar. It was fun. The kids liked sprinkling it on and patting it into the dough. I liked the fact that we got pretty cookies with a minimum of mess. I'm just not in to sticky messes these days. I went in to the other room with Baby Girl for a minute and came back to find Buddy Boy with ear to ear blue sugar. My only consolation is that it wasn't head to toe frosting.
